Phone consultations for eligible private clients

Non-residents who are not eligible for publicly funded care may have an initial phone consultation from anywhere in New Zealand when clinically suitable. Clients receiving publicly funded care attend an in-person appointment at our clinic at 139 Union Road, Howick, Southeast Auckland.

Private Early Medical Abortion

$500

NZ$500 covers the full early medical abortion care process, interpretation of repeat hCG results and up to two weeks of follow-up.

For people who are not eligible for publicly funded care, our private early medical abortion pathway is NZ$500. This covers your consultation, prescribed early medical abortion treatment and up to two weeks of clinical follow-up. External hCG testing may be completed through Awanui Labs or Pathlab and is paid directly to the laboratory; charges may vary and are approximately NZ$60 where applicable. Ultrasound, when clinically indicated, may also carry a separate external provider fee. We explain expected charges before arranging any additional investigation.

More than 10 weeks pregnant?

Our early medical abortion service has a gestational limit. If you are beyond it, please contact us promptly so we can discuss assessment and referral to a service that provides care at your stage of pregnancy. Later abortion can be provided safely in appropriate specialist settings.
