Abortion Care for Non-Residents in Queenstown, Wānaka & Central Otago

Phone consultations are available for non-residents, including people in New Zealand on visitor visas, working holiday visas, student visas and other temporary visas, where clinically suitable. You do not need a GP referral to contact us.

If you are travelling or working in Queenstown, Wānaka, Cromwell, Alexandra or elsewhere in Central Otago, you can contact The Women’s Health Hub directly about private early medical abortion care. Our physical clinic is in Howick, Southeast Auckland; phone consultations are available for clinically suitable non-residents.

Queenstown and Wānaka attract large numbers of international visitors and working holiday makers, while Central Otago also has seasonal orchard and vineyard work. If your accommodation or job location is changing, let us know so that any hCG testing, ultrasound or travel requirements can be planned before treatment.

Private early medical abortion pathway

Our private clinical pathway is NZ$500. External hCG testing through Awanui Labs or Pathlab is paid directly to the laboratory and charges vary. Ultrasound or in-person assessment may be required depending on your clinical circumstances.
